Scanning stops when using the ADF to scan A3 and B4 documents


When scanning under the following conditions, the printer may freeze after scanning

  1. Select Scan To Memory/Folder or Email
  2. Place A3 or B4 documents into the ADF
  3. Changing the setting Mixed Size Originals to ON from the setting menu
  4. Set file format to PDF
  5. Perform scan

If the product freezes, long press the power button to turn it off.

To resolve this, the latest firmware will need to be installed. With the product turned on, run the Epson Software update tool from the computer to update the latest version of firmware.
